What Jan has to say:by Jan Wingender|janw@dib-comics.com |
| You're sick and tired of it. I'm sick and tired of it. I'm talking about the non-updates on pretty much every Wednesday over the past few weeks. Therefor I've decided to change the schedule of DIB Comics. From now on, expect to see new comics every MONDAY, THURSDAY and SATURDAY. Thanks for your attention ;) Originally, I intended to do a comic about the Summerbreeze Festival today. But I figured that I shouldn't if I ever wanted to get the weasel story arc to an end. So just let me say that Summerbreeze was awesome and I recommend it to anyone out there. Greetings to those two who gave me the "shroud of christ in a cup". I forgot your names because those two beer bongs totally blew my brains out. And finally: I HATE TRAFFIC JAMS! I know I wrote two weeks ago that I'd write some more about Wacken. Turns out I don't really have the time to do it. But I completely forgot to greet a few readers whom I met there. So here it goes: - Markus, Marcell and Timo (I have a serious problem with remembering names. So please forgive me if those are not your names) of the Wacken Furry Camp (more or less). - Everybody who came by our camp and said: "Is this where Jan W. is camping? THE Jan W. For real?" - The guy and his girlfriend(?) in the crowd at the Children of Bodom concert who recognized my DIB Comics t-shirt and said: "Good reader". I'm not a reader. I'm a KREATOR! ;) - Those folks who caught my attention by shouting "Garstiges Wiesel!" (=insidious weasel). - Everybody from our camp: Jonas (the boss!), Volker (the chef!), Martin, Sven (the leprechaun), Digger, the Switzerlandish ones, the reader, the sleeper, Eschrich and my loved one Eva. Jan awayyy! Yup, I'm back from Wacken. I think I'm going to write some more about the festival later on this week. Right now I've too much to do. You're probably asking why there were no comics last week. The answer quite honestly is that I was too busy being gang-raped by an army of bacteria. With a throat-, ear- and coloninfection the only real thing I was able to do was... to suffer. Luckily with the help of loads of painkillers and antibiotics I was able to free my body from the microbe militia and established peace. I am healthy enough to be going to the W:O:A but I'll still have to take antibios so I wön't be able to drink much. But I guess that's not too bad. See you, folks! Btw.: Due to shortage of manpower the next comic will not be up until next week's Monday. We apologize. Now if you'll excuse me I have a Wacken to attend! The end of July is coming. This is the worst time of the year, because time seems to me like time is slowing down more and more. As it does every year, two weeks before the WACKEN OPEN AIR! I'm already all nervous and shit. I just can't take it anymore! I NEEDZ MY FESTVALSSS!!! By the way (since people have asked me this): The W:O:A is not the only festival where I will be celebrating a brain cell genocide this year. I'll also be at the SUMMER BREEZE and ROCK AREA Festivals. Hope to see some of you there! Grammar or spelling mistakes in today's comic are completely intentional and have nothing to do with the fact that I had a bottle of champagne and a bunch of beers. And remember kids: SAY NO TO DRUGS! Except when they're for free ;) By the way: Next comic tomorrow. This one's the one I was supposed to do yesterday (where did I read that before?). |
